I am a wife, a mother of five—three I gave birth to and two beautiful bonus children God blessed me with through my husband. Beyond family, I am a friend, sister, and “auntie” to many, always striving to be a source of encouragement and support.
For more than 15 years, I worked in behavioral health facilities and group homes, serving troubled and at-risk youth. During that time, I witnessed countless young people caught in cycles of instability, often sitting in treatment facilities for months or years without receiving the tools they needed to thrive. Too many were released without follow-up care, aged out without a safe place to go, and left to figure out life on their own. These experiences deeply moved me and planted a seed in my heart: something had to change.
I have always believed in the power of reaching just one. If one life can be shifted, transformed, and given hope, then the ripple effect will touch many more. As a woman and a mother of three daughters, I feel a deep calling to help other ladies grow into the women they are meant to be. I believe that around the age of sixteen, young women begin to explore who they are and who they want to become. With guidance, encouragement, and someone positive in their corner, they can make choices that lead to a brighter, healthier future.
The Shifting was created to be a safe place—a home for guidance, mentorship, and support. It is a space where women of all ages can learn essential life skills, build lasting confidence, and rediscover hope. Through compassion, structure, and community, I am committed to helping ladies recognize their worth, embrace their identity, and prepare for the meaningful lives they deserve
